The Colder DrumQuik® is an easy-to-use product for extracting high purity chemicals from rigid containers (jerry cans, drums and IBCs) using common pumps within a closed system design. Using a closed system virtually eliminated the chance for hazardous spills or emissions release, providing a cleaner and safer work environment as well as eliminating the chance of spills of costly fluids.

Once installed, connect the DrumQuik system to any pump and you have a safe, economical closed system to pump out your drums or totes. We can provide the DrumQuik by itself or an entire system including the hoses and pumps.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

  • An internal shutoff valve so that when it is disconnected from the container (either during change-out or storage) the media will not drip and spill.

  • A liquid outlet port that features a variety of “fitting” options to facilitate easy connection to system tubing.

  • A separate, external venting port that allows make-up air into the container as liquid is removed but can also be used to connect an inert “blanket” gas such as nitrogen, carbon dioxide or argon to protect oxygen-sensitive media such as edible oils or high-purity chemicals used in the microelectronic, solar and pharmaceutical production industries.

  • A simple and robust means to connect the coupler to the drum insert that can be connected and disconnected quickly while maintaining a leak-free interface. A keying system provides the end user a visual (color coding) and/ or mechanical means to prevent accidental misconnects of incompatible media.

Two Different DrumQuik Models Avaiable

DrumQuik® PUR

DrumQuik® PUR is an easy-to-use product for extracting high purity chemicals from rigid containers (jerry cans, drums and IBCs) using common pumps within a closed-system design. The integrated flare outlet fitting allows easy connections to chemically resistant tubing such as PFA or FEP. The system minimizes chemical exposure and promotes employee and environmental safety.

DrumQuik PUR is ideally suited to cost-sensitive one-way/single-use applications and can be disposed of, recycled along with the container or reused with a new container. DrumQuik PUR products are manufactured in a cleanroom and double bagged to maintain purity until ready for use.

DrumQuik® PRO

DrumQuik PRO is an easy-to-use product for extracting chemicals from rigid containers. The closed-system design and rugged construction meet the strict safety requirements of chemical handling applications as well as the demands of harsh operating environments.

DrumQuik PRO minimizes chemical exposure and facilitates the delivery of chemicals from bulk transfer containers to end use applications. The coupler is reusable and the dip-tube assembly is suited to cost-sensitive one-way and single-use container applications and can be disposed of or recycled along with the container
