The APV R Series Pump is ideal for the type of application where the metal rotored pump will not work effectively. When you need to strip clean your pump because the product will not wash out by using a normal CIP process such as meat processing, the R pump overcomes this problem by its simple robust design. The R pump design utilises a floating rotor without rotor nuts. APV R Series rotors are interchangeable and can only be fitted in one position due to a specially modified square shaft. This simple and robust design allows for all sanitary parts to be changed in minutes without removing the pump from the line. The pumps are now fitted with an 'O' ring front cover gasket, making the routine maintenance even easier.

APV uses multi-lobe rubber rotors (twin lobe on the RO) as standard. These deliver very high efficiency for the handling of a wide range of difficult and abrasive products.

As a strip clean unit the APV R Series pump has simple front loaded rubber lip seals for easy replacement. For special applications a range of metal or plastic rotors in several different profiles can be supplied, which are ideal for abrasive or corrosive products. APV R Series pumps can be fitted with enlarged rectangular inlets for metal and dough slurries. Additionally, if entrapped air is a problem, special de-gassing front covers can be used, enabling entrapped air to be removed prior to cooking or processing. If you have a problem with fitting a pump beneath your tank or hopper a front cover outlet can be supplied. For higher discharge applications a cover with outrigger bearings is available.

APV R Series Pumps can be supplied with a variety of drive units, or complete with hoppers or auger feed units.

The BH Sanitary Pump is employed in the food products, pharmaceutical, cosmetic and chemical/biochemical industries for sanitary applications and optimal cleaning. The important capabilities include, the continuous, pressure-stable, gentle and low-pulsation pumping and metering in proportion to speed. The block pump construction with flanged drive is particularly compact and economical to operate.

Various different regulatory bodies have set specifications for a hygienically correct configuration of components and machines, as well as for component cleanability. The materials used are approved by the FDA (Food and Drug Administration) as well as EU-VO 1935/2004. In addition, the Hygienic and Aseptic Pumps meet the specifications of the United States’ 3-A Sanitary Standards and are GOST-R certified (a Russian certificate of conformity).

Conveying and cutting in one process step without expensive additional equipment, this is exactly what the hopper pump with integrated cutting device makes possible. With the progressing cavity pump, for example in the food industry, large solids such as pieces of fruit or vegetables can be easily and quickly chopped and pumped for further processing.

The BO/SO progressing cavity pump with hopper and coupling rod with feeding screw and force-feed chamber is employed in almost all branches of industry to provide continuous, pressure-stable, gentle and low-pulsation conveyance. The hopper housing with cutting unit guarantees optimum feed of chunky medium into the conveying elements. If the medium passes the force-feed chamber with the cutting unit the larger fruits and vegetables are cutted immediately. This unit consists of a rotating knife with three blades and a variable number of stationary knives adjustable to the size and consistency of the particles. Optionally the pump can be equipped with an additional cutting unit at the discharge flange of the pump. With its perforated disc and rotating knife it allows for further fine definition of the particle size. As any other progressing cavity pump also the BO/SO pump has the ability to dose the conveyed media in proportion to rotation speed. In block construction with a flanged drive, this pump is particularly compact and economical In addition, the pump is characterised by low investment, operating and maintenance costs. However, it is also available in bearing block design with a free shaft end. This means that the pump can be operated with different types of drive, such as servo motors, diesel engines or hydraulic drives.

The RF pump is a flexible impeller pump. Due to the design, these pumps are reversible, self-priming and can suck from a maximum height of 5 meters. This type of pump is designed to pump products of both low and high viscosity as well as products containing particles or gases.

The main applications are transfer of dairy products, edible oils, wine and beverages in general.

Due to the eccentric shape of the pump housing, a vacuum is created in the suction side that enlarges the volume between the blades and this causes the product suction.

The rotor is spinning and the product is carried from the suction side to the discharge outlet. Due to the eccentric shape of the pump housing, at the discharge side the blades bend, reducing the volume between them and causing the discharge of the product.

Compact and mounted in an S-Line Clamp Connection, the 16AMP-AR relieves air/vapor pressure and is most commonly used on the inlet of a Centrifugal Pump so when the pump is operating, the valve is sealed by the low suction pressure. However, when the pump is "air locked," the pressure increases and the valve opens to let the air out of the system.

Comprised of a Nylon poppet valve with a Buna O-Ring seal, the valvescan be supplied with 304 Stainless Steel, or 316L Stainless Steel cap bodies.

Ball valves offer great economy and durability for a wide range of applications that do not require clean-in-place (CIP) service. They are easy to install and maintain. The full ported, straight-through design of ball valves frees the flow path from obstructions. As a result, pressure drops across the valves are reduced, and there is no change in elevation for piping through the valve. This allows efficient and safe production or cleaning processes in the food, beverage, dairy, industrial, and chemical industries.
